Sad news
Livia's Great Aunt Diane (Grandpa David's twin sister) passed away on Thursday, on the day of their 62nd birthday. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. We are sad that Livia will not grow up knowing Diane's giving heart, warmth, and great sense of humor. Our family gatherings will never be the same. We are glad that Livia did get to meet Diane in December though. And Livia really loves and appreciates the sweater that Diane made for her (she is actually wearing it in the post below at 5 months. It was originally supposed to be a "coming home" outfit, but Livia was so small at first and it was hot in October so it's worked out well that she's been able to wear it all winter). We love you and miss you, Diane.

So very sorry about the sad news. Diane was such a lovely lady, and so very brave throughout her tough fight with the cancer.
We were fortunate to have gotten to know her, even briefly.
