5 months and more...
We are a couple of weeks late in posting, but the first photos were taken at 5 months (okay 5 months and 1 day, but close enough). Last weekend Bonnie came to visit from Iowa. It was great to see her and relive our Chapel Hill days. Livia really enjoyed hanging out with her and hopes that she did not wake Bonnie up too much (good call on bringing earplugs-- though of course Livia is sleeping much better this week now that there isn't anyone in the guest room to wake up). The video was shot earlier tonight. Livia did "tripod" sit for several seconds, but by the time we grabbed the camera I guess she got pretty tired. We will take more photos and videos as she perfects this new skill...

Livia at 5 months, she's getting so big. When I blow the photos up she is so beautiful. And, the adorable face she makes as she is trying to sit up, really adorable.
Anyway, I enjoyed the 5 month pictures, and, next month, I'll get some new ones in person.

She really is getting so big, and those eyelashes of hers are to die for!! So pretty!
Livia! You're such a good sitter...but even a better faller. I like the Zen calmness, the "I'm falling and there's nothing I can do about it" look of acceptance. And the quick reflexes of Mom (or Dad's?) arm coming to the rescue! Nice job!
Now the complaint: A ONE second film! What the? You built up all this anticipation as I scrolled down the photos...and then only one second of Livia! That's just not going to cut it in the baby blog department. You may as well have posted a half second video, and we would have thought she was sitting!
See, if you up the ante on these baby blogs, you've got to consistently meet the expectations of an audience growing hungrier and hungrier for more more more Livia. If she weren't so darned cute, we wouldn't care so much. But one second! It's just not enough Livia in action.
She is such a pretty girl--and she's a real combination of the two of you. I can't believe she is 5 months old already and preparing to sit! Where does the time go? Soon she and Kaden will actually be able to play together! How cool! :)
Bob, the short video is my fault. I thought Dan was taking a photo but it was a video. On our camera there is a really cute shot on the front of the video, but it just shows up black here. Oh well-- for some reason it took 2 hours to upload so I figured I'd leave it on there. Stay tuned for better shots...

I see I am not the only one to notice but those are some amazing eyelashes!
Aww Sharon she looks so beautiful! Livia has such a sweet face and those lashes!!!:) And on a side note...I think we all know that while you might not call Cassidy the "Big" sister, we all know she is your first baby :)
